Features & Benefits:

- Rugged Construction - Tanks are available in high quality mild steel or copper bearing steel.
- Optional stainless steel tanks are also available in grades of 304L or 316L.
- Typical material thickness of steel parts are as follows:
- Tank - up to 5/16" thick
- Cover - up to 1/2" thick
- Bottom - up to 1/2" thick
- External Cooling (if required) - up to 5/16” thick panels or 12 gauge(.105”) radiators
- Base Bars - bar or channel styles available
- Lifting Lugs - sized as per transformer weight with same material as tank
- Durable Coatings - a wide range of superior coatings are available.
- Typical standard coating is a powder coat paint finish.
- Other coatings which meet C57.12.32 are also available.
- A special anti-corrosion finish (asphalt saturated) is available on request for the base.
- Steel surfaces are sand blasted as per SSPC-SP6.
- Convenient & Secure Tank Access - covers can be welded or bolted and supplied with either a welded or bolted access plate.
- Manhole flange design options include blind-tap arrangements and through-bolting arrangements.
- w Extensive Range - units are available up to 34.5 kV, with three phase up to 4000 kVA and single phase up to 1000 kVA.
- w Enhanced Protection - primary protection options include:
- Bayonet fusings
- Bayonets and under-oil partial range current-limiting fusing (2 fuse system)
- Full range current limiting fuse in dry-well canisters
- Primary fuse protection can be provided in styles suitable for cover mounting or sidewall mounting. An internal wall mounted
- LV breaker is available for secondary protection on single phase and small three phase units.
- Choice of Primary Disconnect Switching - Under-oil loadbreak switches rated up to 600A, 150 kV BIL are available in both 2 and 4-position configurations.
- Switches can be interlocked with primary fusing upon request.
