The MEI Aftermarket Refurbishment and Repair program produces transformers and switchgear that look and perform like new. MEI offers Refurbishment and Repairs on all makes of distribution and power transformers. MEI offers a full range of solutions that include:
Testing:
- Electric assessment and testing for all applicable industry standards - Certified Test Reports Available
Repairs:
- Minor to major repairs - 20% - 40% of new
- Update transformer to current specification
Refurbishment:
- No more than 75% of new
- Rewind like to like voltage
- Rewind voltage conversions
Painting:
MEI offers touch up painting and complete epoxy powder coating repainting of transformer tanks
Warranty:
MEI offers same warranty as that on a new transformer

MEI's Sales and Service Centres offer our Customer Refurbishment and Repair capabilities from coast to coast. All locations may not service all products.
